Clamped bleeding is caused by using a Tourniquet on an extremity (except the head) with an Arterial Bleeding. It is removed upon completing an Open & Close Surgery on the affected limb.


Caused by:

  • Tourniquet

Effects:

  • Prevents Arterial Bleeding from causing Blood Loss
  • Causes Gangrene after a period of time

Treatment:

  • Open & Close Surgery
