Aortic ruptures are one of the most serious injuries one can experience. The victim of this requires immediate medical care, and will most likely lose a significant portion of their blood.

Caused by:

  • Bleeding (80% or more, on torso)
  • Foreign Bodies (20% or more, on torso)

Effects:

  • 4% Blood Loss per second
  • Unconsciousness
  • 8% Internal Bleeding per second
  • Fibrillation
  • Abdominal Pain
  • Chest Pain

Treatments:

  • Aortic Rupture Surgery
  • Open & Close Surgery
